01

Who we are

Krong Academy (“Krong Academy”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Damian Powell, an individual trading as a sole proprietor, based in South Africa. As a sole proprietorship there is no separate registered company address. You can contact us through our contact form.

02

Eligibility

The Products are intended for working professionals and are not directed at anyone under 18. By purchasing a Product or creating an account, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms in your own jurisdiction.

03

The Products

  • The Programme. The AI-Augmented Project Manager is a self-paced online course (11 modules and 48 lessons, built around the Caldera Freight case study) that includes the Human Audit described in Section 7. The founding price is $127 for the first 100 students or until 31 March 2027, whichever comes first. After that the price is $297. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout (see Section 4). Access runs for 12 months from your purchase date. The lessons are narrated with an AI-generated copy of the instructor’s voice (see Section 11).
  • Free access. Modules 1 and 8 are free from 1 December 2026, so you can evaluate the Programme before buying. No card or payment details are needed. Before that date the Site collects waiting-list sign-ups. Free access does not include the Human Audit, certificates or Sen’s full exports, and we may change or withdraw the free content.
  • Certificates. The Certificate of Completion is issued on request once we have confirmed that you have completed all 48 lessons. The shorter fast-track route does not lead to this certificate. The Certificate of Applied Practice is issued when every section of your submission meets the standard in the Human Audit Scoring Model. Both are Krong Academy credentials (see Section 9). Each certificate carries a number. Anyone can check it at verify.krong.academy by entering the certificate number and the holder’s full name. By asking us for a certificate you agree that we may confirm its details in this way (see our Privacy Policy).
  • Sen. Sen is a browser-based planning tool at sen.krong.academy for building a schedule, budget, risk register, stakeholder plan, RACI and related project artefacts. It is an optional, recommended companion to the Programme. The Programme does not require it: you can build your plan in the templates we provide, and the Human Audit marks your plan, not the tool you built it in. Exploring Sen and building plans in it is free and open to anyone. Free users can save a backup file (.json) and export one watermarked one-page summary. Full exports (document, board deck, workbook and task files) are a Programme-student benefit for the duration of your access window in Section 4. We do not sell removal of the watermark. Sen saves your work in your own browser’s local storage. Krong Academy does not host, back up or have access to your saved project data, and cannot recover it if you clear your browser data or switch devices without exporting first. You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Account menu in Sen; see our Privacy Policy for what that removes. Sen has its own terms of use inside the app. They apply together with these Terms, and if they conflict with these Terms about the tool itself, Sen’s terms apply to the tool. Sen is provided “as is” and its features may change as we improve it.
  • Community. The Krong Academy Community is a private discussion space for Programme students, hosted on our course platform (systeme.io). Access is included with the Programme and runs for your access window described in Section 4. You agree to be respectful, to keep your login to yourself, and not to post confidential, personal or client information, or anything you do not have the right to share. What you post is visible to other members. We may moderate, remove content or suspend community access for breach of these rules. Posts by other members are their own opinions, are not checked by Krong Academy, and are not professional advice.
  • Case studies (optional). After you earn the Certificate of Applied Practice we may invite you to share a case study. It is voluntary and separate from your purchase. There is no payment or reward, and it has no effect on your result or certificate. It covers one project only, the plan that earned the certificate. Nothing is published without your written approval. We name your employer or client only if you tell us to. We decide which case studies to publish, so being featured is not guaranteed. If you withdraw, we remove what we published on our own website and social channels within 30 days. We cannot remove copies that other people have shared.
04

Payment and access

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Access to the Programme is granted immediately once payment clears. Prices are in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer sets its own exchange rate and may charge fees we do not control.

Pricing and price changes. The founding price of $127 applies to the first 100 students or until 31 March 2027, whichever comes first. When either limit is reached the founding price ends and the standard price of $297 applies to new purchases. A promotional price ends when we say it ends. We may change the standard price for future purchases at any time by updating the Site. A price change never affects a purchase you have already made: you keep the price you paid. We do not offer instalment plans.

Access window. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is nothing recurring to cancel, and no further payment is ever required to keep the access you have already been granted for its stated window. That window is time-limited: 12 months from your purchase date. During your access window you have full use of the course modules, the community and Sen’s full export features described in Section 3. We may email a courtesy notice to the address associated with your purchase before your access window ends, but the window ends 12 months from your purchase date whether or not a notice is sent or received. After your access window ends, course and export access is no longer guaranteed. Sen itself stays available on its free terms. We may, at our discretion, extend access, offer a renewal, or migrate the Programme to a new format, but you should not rely on this. Nothing in this section shortens the 14-day refund period in Section 5, which runs from your purchase date.

We reserve the right to migrate, update, or eventually retire the hosting platform the Programme is delivered on, and will give reasonable advance notice if we do.

05

Refund policy

You can ask for a full refund of the price you paid. All of the following must be true when you ask:

  • Within 14 days. You ask within 14 days of your purchase date.
  • Early in the Programme. You have completed fewer than 25% of the lessons beyond the free Modules 1 and 8 (fewer than 10 of the 39), as recorded by our course platform.
  • No plan submitted. You have not submitted a plan for the Human Audit.
  • No “Get your files” request. You have not made a “Get your files” request. The key files (the Project Plan and the RACF Prompt Guide) are released only when you ask for them in that way, and making the request ends your refund right.
  • One request per person. A refund can be requested once per customer and does not stack across repeat purchases.

The refund is 100% of the price you paid, at any price, including the founding price. We do not deduct card or payment fees. We refund the amount in US dollars, so any exchange-rate difference on your side is outside our control. The conditions exist because the lessons and downloads open as soon as you enrol: the refund covers an early look at the Programme, not a course taken and then returned.

To ask, use the contact form and write from the address you used to buy. We aim to reply within 5 business days. If your request meets the conditions, we refund your original payment method and aim to complete it within 10 business days, although your bank may take longer to show it. Once we refund you, your access to the Programme, the community and Sen’s full exports ends, and any certificate we issued is withdrawn.

Your statutory rights. Some countries (including EU and UK countries) give consumers a legal right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days. Where that right applies, it is not removed or reduced by the conditions above. For digital content that starts straight away, the law lets us ask you to agree to immediate access and to accept that you then lose the right to cancel. We ask for that at checkout. If you did not give that agreement, or the law does not allow it where you live, you can cancel within 14 days under the law, whatever progress you have made, and we will refund you in full.

Apart from this refund and your statutory rights, purchases are not refundable (see Section 16).

06

Payment disputes and chargebacks

If you have a concern about a purchase, please use the contact form first. Most issues, including refund requests, are resolved faster this way than through your card issuer or payment provider. If you start a chargeback, dispute or reversal with your bank, card issuer or Stripe instead of (or before the outcome of) using the process in Section 5, we reserve the right to: suspend or end your access to the Products pending resolution; treat the chargeback as your one refund request under Section 5 (so a later direct request for the same purchase will not also be honoured); and give Stripe or your card issuer the transaction and communication records relevant to your purchase, to contest an unwarranted chargeback. This section does not limit any right you have to dispute an unauthorised or fraudulent transaction.

07

The Human Audit

Your access window. Your initial submission must reach us within your 12-month access window described in Section 4. We email reminders at months 3, 6 and 9 of the window. Missing a reminder does not extend the window.

What it is. The Human Audit is a personal service. An experienced, certified project management reviewer reads your submission and checks each of its three sections against the published rubric in the Human Audit Scoring Model. The Certification Guide lists what a submission must contain and the word limits. People read your submission; we do not use an AI tool to read it first. The lead reviewer, who wrote the course, signs off every result and certificate.

Your result. You receive one result per section: Meets the standard or Not yet. For a section that meets the standard you receive one strength. For a section marked Not yet you receive the change needed, with the place in your submission it refers to. Scores are the reviewer’s internal working tool and are not shared. No grade is given above a pass. Results are final and are not re-reviewed: if you disagree with a result, your included resubmission is the route. A section is checked again only if your reviewer missed something that is in your submission. In that case, reply within ten business days and quote the page.

What you submit. Submit only your own work, and only material you have the right to share. Do not include confidential information belonging to your employer or a client, or personal data about other people. Use a fictional or generic name for the organisation and role titles instead of personal names. We use what you submit only to run the review and the resubmission steps. A person reads it, and we do not publish it.

Feedback time. Written feedback arrives within 21 business days of a complete submission. The submission form accepts only complete submissions. If a file cannot be opened, we tell you within 7 to 10 business days, and the clock restarts when a readable file arrives.

Resubmission. If any section is marked Not yet, you have one included opportunity to resubmit, which you must make within 21 business days of receiving that feedback. It only needs to cover the flagged section(s), not your full submission. Because the three sections are interconnected, your reviewer keeps your original submission on file for context.

Further review. If your resubmission still does not meet the standard, we tell you in writing. You may then buy one further review for $100, once only, within 60 days of that email. It covers a third attempt, which you must submit within 90 days of payment, and, if needed, a fourth, which you must submit within 21 business days of feedback on the third. In total you have up to four attempts: your initial submission, the one included resubmission, and up to two further attempts covered by the $100 fee. If your fourth attempt does not meet the standard you will not receive the Certificate of Applied Practice. Your Certificate of Completion is unaffected, provided you have completed all 48 lessons.

Time limits. The 12-month access window covers your initial submission only. The other clocks above run on their own and keep running after your access window ends. All rights under the Programme, including the Human Audit, end 24 months from your purchase date. If you miss a deadline, you lose that attempt. Because the review uses real, limited reviewer time, once you have submitted a plan for the Human Audit the refund in Section 5 no longer applies.

Not advice. The Human Audit is feedback on your project plan document against a stated rubric. It is not personalised legal, financial, tax, investment or professional consulting advice about your actual project, business or organisation, and it does not create a consulting, advisory or fiduciary relationship between you and Krong Academy. Decisions about your real project remain yours to make.

Reminders are a courtesy. Any reminder or notice about your access window or Human Audit deadline, including the emails we plan to send at months 3, 6 and 9, is sent as a courtesy only. The window is fixed at 12 months from your purchase date. If a reminder is not sent, is delayed, is filtered to spam, or is not received because you unsubscribed, changed your address or your mailbox was full, that does not extend the window and is not a breach of these Terms or a ground for a refund, extension or compensation. You are responsible for noting your expiry date, which is 12 months from the date on your purchase receipt. Nothing in this paragraph limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

After the 12 months. If you have not submitted your plan within your access window, your right to a Human Audit review expires. We may, at our sole discretion and without any obligation, offer a review-only submission for $100 during the 12 months after your access window ends (up to 24 months from your purchase date). It includes no access to the course modules, Sen’s full exports or any other part of the Programme, and it does not revive your access window. If we offer it, we will send you the payment link by email. After 24 months from your purchase date, all rights under the Programme end, and any further participation requires a new purchase at the price then offered.

08

What you can and can’t do with the Products

You may use the Programme’s content, templates, prompts and Sen for your own personal or internal professional use. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or share your access credentials or the course materials (including the RACF prompts, worksheets, templates and Excel tools) with anyone who has not bought the Programme themselves. Downloads open module by module, and the PDFs are stamped with your name and email address, so a shared copy can be traced to you.

Sen is licensed to you, not sold. You may not copy it, resell it, scrape it, reverse engineer it, or remove its watermark or bypass its export limits. All content is owned by Krong Academy or licensed to Krong Academy for use in the Programme. We reserve the right to suspend or end access, without refund, for anyone who shares credentials or materials in breach of this section, or who otherwise misuses the Products (including abusive conduct toward Krong Academy or its staff, or attempts to avoid payment).

09

Independent training, not an accredited qualification

Krong Academy is an independent training provider. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or accredited by any professional body or certifying organisation. Our certificates are Krong Academy’s own credentials. They are not professional qualifications recognised by any other body, and completing the Programme is not a pathway to any other organisation’s exam or certification. The names of other organisations and standards belong to their owners.

10

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site, the Programme or Sen will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any defect will be corrected. Nothing in this section limits any warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded under the law of your country of residence.

11

Assumption of risk, no professional advice and AI output

The Programme teaches a methodology and provides templates, prompts and worked examples. It does not provide personalised project management, legal, financial, tax or investment advice for your specific project or organisation, and using it does not create a consulting or advisory relationship (see also Section 7 on the Human Audit). You are solely responsible for the decisions you make on your own project, including any decision based on output from the Programme’s materials or from any AI tool (including tools used via the RACF prompt method).

AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your specific circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying and exercising your own professional judgement over any AI-assisted output before relying on it or presenting it to a client, sponsor, board or any other party. Krong Academy is not responsible for decisions made, or outcomes arising, from your use of or reliance on AI-generated content, whether produced during the Programme or afterwards.

AI voice in the lessons. The lessons are narrated with an AI-generated copy of the instructor’s voice, so that the course can be kept up to date quickly. You hear the instructor’s real voice in the YouTube videos, the welcome and module introduction videos, and in replies to students. If you find an error in a lesson, use the contact form. We aim to correct confirmed errors the same day.

12

No outcome guarantee, results and testimonials

Apart from the refund in Section 5, we do not guarantee any particular career, business or financial outcome from completing the Programme (a promotion, a job offer, a client win or similar). Results depend on your own effort, project, experience and circumstances, all of which vary from person to person. Any testimonial, case study or example of a result mentioned on the Site or in our marketing reflects that individual’s specific experience and is not a promise or guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.

13

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krong Academy’s total liability to you for any and all claims arising from or relating to your purchase or use of the Products, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the amount you actually paid for the relevant Product in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost opportunity or lost data (see Section 3 on Sen’s local-storage model), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law of your country of residence, including (where applicable) liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Krong Academy and its operator from any third-party claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your breach of these Terms; your misuse of the Products; content or data you submit (including in a Human Audit submission or refund request) that infringes a third party’s rights or is unlawful; or your violation of any applicable law in connection with your use of the Products. This does not apply to claims arising from our own breach of these Terms, negligence or wilful misconduct.

15

Force majeure and third-party platforms

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages, downtime or policy changes at third-party platforms we rely on to deliver the Products (systeme.io, Clerk, Stripe, Google, Netlify, Cloudflare, and our email and hosting providers), internet or power outages, or events of force majeure. If a third-party platform outage materially delays your access to something you have paid for, we will take reasonable steps to restore access or, if that is not possible within a reasonable time, offer an appropriate remedy at our discretion.

16

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere (which can apply to cross-border online sales to consumers in the EU, UK or elsewhere) or gives you rights that these Terms cannot lawfully limit or waive.

17

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Krong Academy regarding the Products, and supersede any prior agreement or understanding, written or oral, on that subject. Any sales page, email or other marketing material is provided for descriptive purposes and does not modify these Terms.

19

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a sale, merger or transfer of the business, without your consent, provided your rights under these Terms are not materially diminished.

20

Changes to these Terms and notices

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will send any notice required under these Terms, or that we choose to send you, to the email address associated with your account or purchase. You are responsible for keeping that address current.
