This is not an introduction to project management. It is for professionals who need to move into strategic, governance-level practice: the level where a plan has to survive a board, a funder or a client, not just a syllabus.
Moving from task management into strategic leadership, plus PMO analysts, coordinators and consultants who need professional artefacts to show for it, in interviews or to a client.
Who want to see how current practice applies to a complex, data-driven, real-world case rather than an exam scenario, and who want the practical layer a credential does not teach.
Who present to boards and sponsors and need governance-grade documentation, not slides, often while running projects without formal PM training.
Who need monitoring, evaluation and ESG built into their plans rather than added as a compliance footnote, especially in NGO, donor-funded and grant-managed programmes.
New to the field? You are welcome to join, but plan to supplement the lessons with foundational PM reading as you go. It works best when you bring a project to plan, or an idea you want to test and develop into one.
Cost figures, risk scores and KPIs carry through all 11 modules and have to stay internally consistent, the standard most courses skip.
Every AI draft passes through Augmentation, Verification and Integrity before it counts as done, taught explicitly, module by module.
Mandate, Outcomes, People, Work, Time, Money, Uncertainty and Adoption are planned together and checked against each other, not built as separate documents.
Module 9 builds a four-tier indicator framework, earned value and benefits realisation into the plan. Module 7 puts ESG inside the cost baseline.
Module 10 builds a real governance workflow and data protection protocol into the plan itself, not a disclaimer beside it.
The rubric the reviewer uses, and both certificate pathways, are published before you enrol, not revealed after you have paid.
Ask an AI to draft a business case, a schedule or a risk register and it will hand you something plausible in seconds. Plausible is not the same as defensible. The moment a CFO asks where a number came from, an ungoverned draft falls apart and takes your credibility with it. RACF verification catches that before a reviewer does.
“Stakeholder resistance is possible and should be monitored throughout the project.”
Drivers resist automated route recommendations (WP 1.7, Training and change management); adoption falls short of target.
Most AI-for-PM courses teach with toy examples: a fictional $50K project, three generic risks, no real complexity to navigate.
A $2.4 million, multi-stakeholder route optimisation project, embedded from Module 1, not bolted on at the end.
Each module opens with the Caldera Freight reference standard: the benchmark you calibrate your own project against.
Every lesson closes with an action lab: the same RACF method, applied straight to your own project.
After every AI output, a structured pass walks you through augmentation, verification and integrity before it counts as done.
Self-assess each deliverable against the module rubric. Aim for “Board Ready” or above before you move on.
Closing questions per module surface knowledge gaps early, before they compound down the line.
Every exhibit here is a genuine table or figure from the 111-page plan. Nothing staged, no stock photography.
A plan fails where its parts stop agreeing. The course builds every section around the same eight threads, so scope, schedule, cost, risk and people can be traced back to one another.
Integrated project planning is the practice of building the major project planning artefacts around a shared project structure, so that scope, deliverables, activities, schedule, responsibilities, stakeholders and risks can be traced back to one another.
Why are we doing this, why now, and who decides?
Three-tier governance, change control, problem statement, root cause analysis, business case, charter.
Modules that build this thread are highlighted.
What will be different, and how will we prove it?
SMART objectives, results chain, logical framework, four-tier indicators, KPIs, benefits realisation, success metrics.

Plan the links, not just the parts. A decision in one thread is checked against the threads it touches.
Every claim, figure and assumption traces to evidence, or is flagged and tested.
Define the benefit, set the baseline, and check it after delivery.
Judge the plan by what still works after handover, for the organisation, its people and the environment.
AI drafts. A named person checks, decides and answers for the result.

48 lessons in total, plus a course files page. Every module builds directly onto the last, in the order a professional would sequence the work.
The shift from process administration to strategic leadership, the Triple Standard (Augmentation, Verification, Integrity), your own planning workspace, and the Caldera Freight case you carry through every module.
Governance frameworks, evidence-based problem statements, root cause analysis and a structured business case that AI can help you draft but cannot verify for you.
The Power-Interest Grid, weighted stakeholder scoring, engagement strategies, and the assumptions register that keeps everyone honest.
Project value, scope and success criteria, SMART objectives, and the results chain and logical framework that tie every later deliverable to the outcome you were funded to achieve.
The scope statement, acceptance criteria, an AI-drafted work breakdown structure you audit against the 100 per cent rule, and the WBS dictionary that makes it usable.
The Critical Path Method, float, the Gantt chart, the RACI matrix that gives every task a name, and the communication plan.
Bottom-up cost baselining, AI-assisted estimating, risk-weighted contingency tested against the outside view, ESG assessment built into the budget, and procurement strategy.
Probability-impact scoring, the risk register, mitigation, escalation triggers, named ownership, scenarios and signposts, so a risk log does not become decoration.
A four-tier indicator framework, KPI monitoring, earned value management (SPI, CPI, EAC), decision dashboards and benefits realisation.
An AI governance workflow, data protection protocols, privacy by design and a change management strategy for the people who have to adopt what you built.
Post-deployment evaluation, operational handover, the integrated planning check against all eight threads and five principles, and the board-ready executive summary.
Sen is a browser-based planning workspace, free to explore, preloaded with the fully worked Caldera Freight case. Your schedule, earned value tracker, risk register, stakeholder grid and RACI chart become one cross-linked dataset instead of five disconnected files.
Sen is a recommended companion, never a requirement. You can build the whole plan in the template, and the Human Audit marks the plan, not the tool. Free accounts can export one watermarked Visual Summary PDF; full exports are for enrolled students.
Most project management training teaches frameworks. Very few show practitioners what a complete, governance-grade project plan looks like in production. None build one from scratch, module by module, using a real case that carries its numbers, decisions and documents through to the end.
The gap is not theoretical. In institutional delivery it shows up as wasted budget, failed audits and stakeholder credibility that takes months to rebuild. Monitoring and evaluation is not embedded. ESG is bolted on at the end. AI tools are deployed without governance, and the documents produced are not board-ready, funder-ready or audit-ready.
This programme closes that gap, not with more frameworks but with a complete, production-ready plan that you build yourself, to the standard institutional funders, boards and external reviewers require.

Everyone who finishes all 48 lessons can request a Certificate of Completion. The Certificate of Applied Practice is different: you submit real sections of your own plan, and an experienced, certified project management reviewer reads them and gives each section a result. The standard is published in full.
Confirms you completed the programme.
Demonstrates applied professional ability.

Yes. It assumes you know the basics. It is built for professionals who need to defend a plan or an idea in front of a board, a client or a funder, and who want AI to speed that work up without eroding the rigour behind it. The method works just as well on an idea you are still testing, for a viability decision, as on a project already under way.
Yes. Caldera Freight is the vehicle, not the point. Every module teaches a transferable method, applied to one consistent case so you see how the pieces connect. You then rebuild each one against your own project's real data.
The programme is 48 lessons across 11 modules. Most people work through it alongside a real project, a module or two a week, rather than in one sitting.
Internet access, a spreadsheet programme that opens .xlsx files (Excel or Google Sheets), and an AI chat tool of your choice. The programme teaches the RACF verification method, not one vendor's tool. Sen, Krong's planning tool, is optional.
That is the point of the programme. You are taught to verify every AI draft against the RACF framework rather than accept it uncritically, so you catch an AI's mistakes before a stakeholder does.
The lesson narration uses an AI-generated clone of the author's voice, made with his permission. This lets us update and re-record lessons quickly, so the content stays current as AI and project practice change fast. The scripts, the plan and the assessment standard are written by the author.
No catch. Modules 1 and 8 are the full modules, not trimmed demos, including the files they use, so you can judge the depth and teaching style before paying. Free access opens on 1 December 2026.
$127 for the first 100 students, or until 31 March 2027, whichever comes first. After that the price is $297. The paid course opens on 1 January 2027. We email everyone on the waiting list 48 hours before it opens to the public, so they can enrol at the founding price first.
12 months from enrolment. You can submit your plan for a Human Audit any time in those 12 months. We send courtesy reminders at months 3, 6 and 9, but the deadline runs from enrolment whether or not a reminder reaches you.
Ask within 14 days of enrolling and we refund 100 per cent of what you paid, provided you have completed fewer than 10 of the 39 lessons beyond the free Modules 1 and 8, have not submitted a Human Audit and have not asked for your files. It is one refund per person. Your statutory rights are not affected. Full terms: Terms & Conditions.
Your right to a Human Audit for the initial submission ends with your 12-month access window. If you have not submitted by then, that right expires. Further review options and time limits are set out in the Terms. After 24 months from enrolment all rights end, and a new enrolment is required.
No. The Certificate of Completion and the Certificate of Applied Practice are Krong Academy credentials, awarded on the terms published on this site. They are evidence of the work you have done, not an accreditation from any professional body.
Both certificate pathways and the five-dimension rubric (Rigour, Integration, Application, Professional judgement and AI responsibility) are published in full: Certification Guide and Human Audit Scoring Model.
You get a short report: one result per section (Meets the standard or Not yet), an overall summary, and for each section either its main strength or the change needed. Scores stay internal and results are final. If you disagree, put your reasoning into your resubmission.
You can resubmit sections marked Not yet. The Terms set out the time limits and the paid review options that follow a second Not yet.
